The app, honestly

A reminder engine for the diabetes brain

Here's where things stand: it's in active design, not in app stores. This page is what we're building and why. The waitlist below genuinely shapes the order we build it in.

The flagship

Prebolus reminders

The single highest-leverage habit in T1D is also the easiest to forget: taking insulin before the meal instead of during it. The app learns your meal rhythm and nudges you at the right moment, so the timing happens without the mental overhead.

It reminds you it's time. It never says how much. Curious about the science? Read why timing beats math.

AI that actually helps

Smart where it's useful, silent where it's not

Every feature here gets labeled as an estimate and stops hard at the same line as everything else: it will never tell you how much insulin to take. AI is good at noticing patterns and doing tedious prep. It is not your endocrinologist, and we won't dress it up as one.

The headline act

Point the camera at your plate

Photo carb counting is real now. Peer-reviewed studies have it within a handful of grams on average, and it measurably beats eyeballing. We're building ours as the sanity check it should be: snap the plate, get a ballpark and what's driving it, compare against your own count.

The estimate stays an estimate. It never flows into a dose suggestion, because that's the line this whole project is built on.

The lineup, in order

We've picked the order, and the labels are honest about it: two of these ship with the first release, two come after, and one is already live on this website. The waitlist below still shapes what gets built fastest.

Coming at launch
Explain my week
Your week as a short plain-language story instead of a graph: what ran high, what dipped, what looks like a pattern versus a one-off. Tap any spike for honest maybes from your own context, and share the summary with anyone who worries. Framed as questions for your care team, never verdicts.
Coming at launch
Before your endo visit, the app reads your last 90 days and writes a one-page plain-language summary: the patterns it noticed, the questions worth asking. Can't wait? A hand-picked version is live on the site now: the appointment prep builder.
On the roadmap
The alarm tuner
It watches which alerts you act on and which you swat away, then drafts a quieter setup to review with your care team. It never changes a device setting itself. The goal is an alarm system you trust, not one you resent.
On the roadmap
The menu scout
Snap a restaurant menu before you order and get a heads-up on the likely carb-heavy traps and slow burners like pizza and pasta. Reconnaissance for the meal, not instructions for the dose.
Live on the site
Tell it about the trip: how long, pump or pens, which CGM, flying or driving. It builds your packing list with the supply math shown, ready to print. No account, no waiting for the app. Try it now.

Also on the bench

What else we're working on

Designing now
CGM history, minus the judgment
Retrospective dashboards that surface patterns worth a conversation: which meals spike you, what workout days look like, how weekends differ. Insight for your next appointment, not a grade on your day.
Designing now
Sleep and exercise aware
Reminders that know a gym evening raises overnight low risk, and that Saturday isn't Tuesday. Context-aware nudges, like a check-your-CGM prompt before bed after training days.
Exploring
Travel mode
Trip coming up? Packing reminders synced with the Traveler Toolkit, plus reminder schedules that handle time zone changes gracefully instead of firing at 3 a.m.

Three things that won't change

Never doses

No feature will ever tell you how much insulin to take. Reminders and insights, yes. Doses belong to you and your care team.

No ad trackers

Health data is not an advertising asset. No third-party trackers, no selling data, no exceptions.

Quiet by default

T1Ds already live with too many alarms. Every nudge has to earn its interruption, and snoozing is never a guilt trip.

Early access

Get it first, shape it early

Waitlist folks get first access to the beta and a real say in what ships. Tell us which mode fits your life and we'll weight the roadmap accordingly. That's the whole deal: no spam, just launch news.
